At the Platform Product Definition organization within GTT/Vehicle Engineering/CAST department, we seek a Manager for Compliance and Portfolio Solutions to join our diverse and ambitious team, playing a key role in developing the future digital toolchain for product development. This role involves leading a team in Göteborg, managing a portfolio of digital tools focused on compliance, sustainability, quality, intellectual property, cost management, and innovation. As the Manager for Compliance and Portfolio Solutions, you will drive contribute to digital transformation within GTT, developing innovative digital tools to enhance productivity. This position offers a chance to make impactful changes daily.

The Platform Product Definition organization is dedicated to providing best in class digital tools and methods for product development while nurturing and empowering our employees. Our primary measure of success is meeting business needs and ultimately the satisfaction of our end-users. Our organization comprises Enterprise Architects, Digital Product Managers, Epic Owners, and Subject Matter Experts who are passionate about advancing Volvo Group's business with innovative digital solutions.

What will you do?

You will ensure digital solutions align with the Volvo Group hardware toolchain strategy, maximizing business value. Collaborating with Digital Product Managers and stakeholders, you will establish a roadmap for your area and implement digital solutions effectively. Your responsibilities include managing the budget and fostering a customer-centric culture that drives innovation. You will promote efficient digital product management and facilitate open communication among stakeholders. As a leader, you will empower your team, cultivate trust, and support their professional development through coaching and feedback. 

•    Digital tools including strategies, roadmap and budget to achieve business value realization in the areas of compliance and certification, sustainability, quality, IP, product and project cost management, portfolio management, product planning and innovation.
•    In collaboration with Digital Product Managers (DPM) and stakeholders, you identify business needs, effectively communicate these to Volvo Group Digital & IT, and oversee the acceptance of deliveries.
•    You own the backlog (including backlog refinement and prioritization) within your area of responsibility
•    Chair Hardware Toolchain governance in the area of Compliance and Portfolio solutions
•    You cultivate a customer centric organization that has power to innovate and develop products that make a meaningful impact on our business.
•    You develop efficient management of digital solutions in your area of responsibility, nurture collaboration, stimulate great conversation and transparency between stakeholders.
•    You lead through empowerment, cultivate trust and agile customer-oriented mindset.
•    As line manager you encourage the professional development and support career development of your team members through active coaching and performance feedback.

Who are you? Are we a perfect match?

We believe that you have: 
•    B.Sc. or higher education.
•    Proven experience managing diverse, global teams and driving results.
•    Ability to see the “big picture” and manage complex tasks.
•    Strong collaboration skills with stakeholders.
•    Excellent communication and presentation skills.
•    Over 10 years of experience in the automotive industry (engineering, compliance, sustainability).

It would also be an advantage if you have:
•    Experience in automotive project management.
•    Familiarity with governmental reporting, emissions legislation, and vehicle certification.
•    Knowledge of product cost management, project cost management, and innovation.
•    Experience with Volvo Group's digital tools (e.g., VECTO, CDS, JIRA, SAP, PowerBI).
•    Experience of the Stable teams framework
