At Global Bus Technology (GBT) function we are proud to navigate and lead the Volvo Buses transition into the future of sustainable transports.

 

You and your team are part of Product and Project Management team, Part of GBT, where we support the Volvo Buses projects, taking the holistic view with a positive attitude. 

 

You are passionate about delivering legal products through our project deliveries. It is important to understand that your deliveries depend on good collaboration with our product development teams and Group Truck Technology ensure we can prepare documentation for our certification Authorities. You understand that homologation is also to understand requirements and dialogues with the Authorities to deliver compliant products.

You will contribute to customers success by having these core responsibilities, includes below but is not limited:

 

•    Ensure and own legal fulfilment of our chassis products according to European legislation including chassis WVTA.
•    Managing the Certification Team/ group plans, activities and deliveries.
•    Support for homologation of products where European legislation is the base for local homologation.
•    Support Customer Adaptation and Body Builder Support for compliance topics and multi stage agreements. 
•    Support towards market to understand and investigate homologation topics.
•    Volvo Bus representative & main interface towards Global Truck Technology homologation teams.
•    Co-ordinate and Support Factory Conformity of Production process.

•    Degree or Graduation in Technical/ Engineering area.
•    Experience of product homologation for 10+ years.
•    Experience of leading a team(direct reports) for 2+ years
•    Structured and thorough, aptitude for understanding standards/ regulations and technical information.
•    Team player with a can-do attitude, who is not afraid to question and is willing to learn and contribute.
•    Leadership courage and ownership mentality.
•    Strive for continuous improvement in the ways of working and in your area of responsibility.
•    Skilled communicator, able to make complex compliance matters understandable and inspire team to take actions.
