At Diagnostic Engineering, a function within Aftermarket Technology, we take pride in being the product owners for solutions (HW&SW), systems, and services that ensure the uptime of Volvo Group products for our customers. Our commitment covers the entire product lifecycle, from innovative development to ongoing maintenance. 
You will be a key member of the Diagnostics Engineering Management Team, reporting directly to the Director of the Diagnostic Engineering function. Our products and services impact approximately 8 million customers each year, helping to keep their vehicles and businesses running smoothly. We are seeking a visionary Group Manager to head one of our engineering groups. 
As the Group Manager for Vehicle Software Deployment, you will lead a highly skilled team developing the company strategies and roadmaps for the Vehicle Software domain. You will also oversee the global deployment of Vehicle Software to the Aftermarket ensuring our operations are seamless and efficient. 
 

Key Responsibilities:

•    Lead and Inspire: As the Group Manager for Vehicle Software Deployment, you will guide and develop a talented team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
•    Strategic Vision: You will be responsible for crafting and executing the company’s strategies and roadmaps for Vehicle Software, aligning with both customer needs and organizational goals.
•    Operational Excellence: Oversee the release and deployment of Vehicle Software and Software kits to the Aftermarket, ensuring that our operations evolve strategically and sustainably.
•    Agile Methodology: Drive our initiatives within an Agile framework, promoting flexibility and responsiveness to changing market demands.

You demonstrate a capability for systems thinking, allowing you to envision how technology and strategic decisions can scale over time. As a leader, you are passionate about developing your team and its members to meet future challenges, thereby contributing to the strategic objectives and business goals of Volvo and Aftermarket Technology. Your communication skills are essential for success in this role; therefore, you are expected to exhibit excellent verbal and presentation skills, with English as the primary language of communication.

We believe you have the following experience:
 
* BsC or MsC degree 
* Minimum of 7 years of experience in development of solutions applied in/for Automotive Embedded Software and Electronics domain
* Several years in leading position as manager or project manager

Knowledge about Aftermarket as well as dealer/workshop knowledge is a merit
