Aftermarket Technology (AMT) is a global entity working to secure customer loyalty and to maximize the uptime of the vehicles for Volvo Group Trucks brands. Customers’ success is our focus.

 

For each vehicle launched on the market, we engineer solutions securing workshop autonomy, maintenance efficiency and maintenance effectiveness. We deliver Diagnostic solutions, operations and procedures, Spare Parts assortment and information, Repair and Maintenance Solutions, Service Planning, Special Tools and Standard Times. We are engaged in future technologies for both vehicles and uptime services. We are focusing on truck as a software, electromobility, automated vehicles, connectivity, digitization and predictive care for our customers.

We are accountable for the maintainability of the vehicles: with a clear repair strategy in mind we influence the design and the technology choices. We make our vehicles and components easy to diagnose, maintain and repair. We improve the vehicle uptime, customers’ success and thus the Volvo Group profitability.

As the Manager for Quality, Strategy & Processes, you are given the opportunity to shape and drive the development of Aftermarket Technology together with leadership team and a global organization of skilled, dedicated to excellence, committed colleagues. 
 

What You Will Do:
•    Lead and Collaborate: Build a robust network and foster collaboration across Group Trucks Technology, the Truck brand organization, and business partners to achieve our strategic objectives.
•    Drive Strategy & Portfolio Management: Oversee the complete Aftermarket Technology function, ensuring alignment with set goals and objectives.
•    Lead Operational Excellence towards Quality and Safety: Work closely with various departments within GTT and truck brands to ensure that quality reports and customer issues are addressed with utmost care and diligence. Promote proactive safety and quality initiatives.
•    Enhance Aftermarket Services: Manage second and third-line support for aftermarket services, utilizing advanced analytics to continuously improve the quality of our aftermarket deliveries.
•    Stakeholder Management: Effectively manage stakeholder expectations while striving for operational excellence in aftermarket technology.
•    Support Compliance: Ensure compliance and proactive development in the area of electric technical safety.
•    Cultivate a Growth Mindset: Foster an inclusive work environment and innovative culture that attracts and retains top talent. Inspire your team to excel in a global setting.

Qualifications:
•    Master’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
•    Several years of experience in product development, preferably within the automotive industry.
•    Proven experience in leading teams in an international and multi-site environment.
•    Experience managing external collaborations with partners and service providers.
