We are now looking for a Marketing Automation Expert who wants to play a key role in transforming data into meaningful, relevant and scalable customer communication on a global level.
This role is ideal for someone who combines deep technical expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud with a strong understanding of CRM, data and B2B customer journeys – and who enjoys working at the intersection of marketing, technology and analytics in close collaboration with markets around the world.
Your mission
As Marketing Automation Expert, you will be responsible for designing, building and optimizing advanced marketing automation journeys that bring our global CRM strategy to life. You will ensure efficient, data‑driven and personalized communication with customers and prospects across global markets, while acting as a hands‑on expert, coach and enabler for local marketing teams.
This is a technically deep, operational role with global reach, where you will own both the architecture and execution of marketing automation within a complex, multi‑market environment.
What you will do
In this role, you will:
- Develop, implement and continuously optimize the global marketing automation practice, aligned with business objectives and global CRM strategy
- Design, build and manage segmentation‑based, automated customer and lead journeys in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including testing and performance optimization
- Own performance tracking, analytics and attribution models for marketing automation, enabling closed‑loop reporting and clear business impact measurement
- Analyze and interpret data from automation activities to identify insights, optimization opportunities and support data‑driven decision‑making
- Work closely with Digital & IT and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and alignment across platforms and systems
- Configure, maintain and evolve technical integrations between Salesforce Marketing Cloud, CRM systems and other interfacing platforms to ensure data quality and reliability
- Own the technical implementation and ongoing maintenance of the marketing database, ensuring accurate, compliant and up‑to‑date customer and lead data
- Act as a trusted expert and advisor to local markets, providing operational support, guidance and best practices within the global framework
- Drive knowledge sharing, upskilling and best‑practice adoption in local markets, ensuring long‑term scalability and maturity of marketing automation capabilities globally
- Drive efficiency and scalability by leveraging platform capabilities, automation and AI‑based tools, while ensuring compliance with brand guidelines, data privacy, and regulations
Who you are
You are a technically strong marketing automation specialist with a passion for data, systems and customer experience. You enjoy working hands‑on with platforms, while also understanding the strategic context of CRM and digital marketing.
We believe you bring:
- Deep, hands‑on technical expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (required), including journey building, data extensions, automation, integrations, and performance optimization
- Strong experience designing and optimizing automated B2B customer and lead journeys
- Solid understanding of lead nurturing, lifecycle management models and how marketing automation supports acquisition, qualification and retention
- Strong analytical skills and a data‑driven mindset, with the ability to measure, interpret and optimize automation performance
- Experience working with customer segmentation models and translating insights into scalable, automated communication flows
- Good understanding of digital traffic acquisition channels and how marketing automation amplifies paid, owned and earned media
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with experience working cross‑functionally with Marketing, Digital & IT and local market teams
- A structured, curious and improvement‑driven mindset, combining creativity with testing and optimization
- Experience from complex, global and multi‑market organizations with shared platforms and governance
- Experience working with AI and/or machine‑learning‑based automation solutions is considered a plus
- You enjoy working in a global context and have the ability to coach, enable and support local teams while maintaining a strong global framework
