Within TTI Controlling & Product Finance, we are driving the transformation of how product cost is measured, followed up, and managed within Volvo Group. We are a global team of highly skilled professionals working at the intersection of finance, engineering, operations, analytics, and digitalization.
We are looking for a Product Cost Digitalization Lead to shape and accelerate our journey, with digital solutions that enable better product cost transparency, decision-making, and performance across Volvo Group.
Your New Team
You will join the central Product Cost team within TTI Controlling & Product Finance, which serves as a center of excellence for product cost management. We work globally across value chains, functions, and regions to provide tools, governance, and methods that harmonize how product cost is measured and reported across Volvo Group brands.
What You Will Do
As Product Cost Digitalization Lead, you will connect business needs with technology solutions, ensuring we develop the right capabilities to improve end-to-end product cost transparency, support better decision-making, and secure future profitability.
In this role, success means bringing visibility on product cost end-to-end to all stakeholders – increasing cost transparency, reducing manual work, and enabling faster, better decisions.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functional alignment on product cost digitalization priorities, roadmap, and solution development.
- Translate product cost business needs into fit-for-purpose solutions, from proof-of-concept to scalable deployment.
- Partner with Volvo Group IT to industrialize successful concepts into sustainable enterprise solutions.
- Own and continuously improve Power BI and business-developed applications connected to enterprise source systems.
- Build, prioritize, and execute the Product Cost IT and digitalization roadmap.
- Drive modern ways of working through automation, analytics, and AI to improve efficiency, transparency, and decision-making.
Who Are You?
You enjoy translating complex challenges into practical solutions and are able to collaborate across functions, cultures, and organizational boundaries. You bring strong digital skills with a passion for understanding business & product finance.
Required:
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into digital, automation, or business intelligence solutions
- Strong knowledge of Power BI, data modelling, reporting, and analytics tools
- Experience scaling proof-of-concepts into enterprise solutions
- Stakeholder management, communication, and project management capabilities
- University degree focused in areas of Finance, Data Science, Engineering, Economics, or Statistics
- Working fluency in English
Desired:
- Experience with Databricks, Python, APIs, and hands-on analytics solutions
- Experience working with product cost, reporting and analysis for decision making in engineering / operations environments
