Thermal Management is a department within Vehicle Technology responsible for developing, delivering, and maintaining an optimized cab climate and vehicle cooling & heating systems for all types of propulsion installations to all truck brands within the Volvo Group. We are responsible for leading the work with strategies and advanced engineering globally. We are located at Gothenburg & Bangalore, and we have close cooperation with the sites in Greensboro and Lyon.

 

We are now looking for an experienced, self-driven Embedded Software Engineer with Scrum Master experience to strengthen our Cab Climate section. 

 

Join the Thermal Management Sub Stream, within the Vehicle Motion and Thermal Management department. Embark on the journey to develop the future Volvo Group Thermal Management systems and functions.

What’s in it for you?

As an Embedded SW Engineer and Scrum Master for the Cab Climate teams, you plan your work according to the agile principles together with your team.

 

You will support the teams within the section around ways of working, ensuring an efficient workflow and continuous improvements. The responsibility of the Cab Climate section is to develop and maintain cab climate systems for all different truck products within Volvo Group. Within the role you will work with both new development towards future feature/function growth and with maintenance improving the system already on the market.

 

You will have the opportunity to collaborate with many surrounding teams within and outside of our direct organization.

Relevant Experience: 
 

  • Master’s Degree in Computer, Electrical/Electronic or similar
  • Embedded SW development experience  
  • Experience with control strategy and SW verification 
  • Experience from Scrum Master role
     

Meritorious to have: 

 

  • Knowledge of Automotive Thermal management and cab climate system 
  • Experience in SIL/MIL/HIL testing 
  • Experience in Matlab, Simulink, TargetLink, Jenkins, Embedded Coder, C, C++, Python
