Who are you?

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst who combines strong analytical expertise with modern data platform knowledge and agile ways of working. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of data, technology, and business, and is comfortable taking on a hybrid role with ~30% Scrum Master responsibilities.You will play a key role in transforming data into actionable insights, driving stakeholder engagement, and enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Data Analytics & Visualization (Primary Focus)

 

  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI
  • Translate business requirements into scalable data models and analytical solutions
  • Perform advanced data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance best practices
  • Work with Azure data platform (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Data Lake) to source and transform data
  • Integrate and consume data from APIs and external systems
  • Collaborate with data engineers and architects to build efficient data pipelines

 

Stakeholder Management & Requirements Gathering

 

  • Engage with business stakeholders to understand needs and define analytical use cases
  • Facilitate workshops and translate business problems into technical solutions
  • Act as a trusted advisor for data-driven decision-making

 

Agile & Scrum (≈30%)

 

  • Act as Scrum Master for the analytics/data team
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives)
  • Remove blockers and ensure smooth team delivery
  • Promote agile best practices and continuous improvement

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar role
  • Strong expertise in Power BI (data modeling, DAX, visualization best practices)
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure data services
  • Experience working with APIs (REST/JSON) and data integration
  • Solid understanding of SQL and data warehousing concepts
  • Proven experience in stakeholder management and requirement gathering
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Knowledge of data governance and data quality frameworks
  • Scrum Master certification (e.g., CSM, PSM) is a plus
