Your key responsibilities in this role would be to

 

  • Deliver impactful stories and drive stakeholder alignment
  • Design enterprise-level solution and architecture blueprints ensuring strategic consistency and compliance across all initiatives.
  • Define and design data integration patterns, pipelines, and frameworks leveraging Azure services, Databricks, and GenAI ecosystem.
  • Establish architecture principles and best practices for data processing, transformation, and storage across distributed systems.
  • Integrate advanced capabilities, including APIs and AI models, into enterprise workflows while ensuring architectural integrity.
  • Collaborate on DevOps strategy for data platforms, guiding CI/CD pipeline design, deployment automation, and environment configurations for data and AI applications.
  • Support governance processes, including preparing architecture artifacts for different review boards and authorities and secure alignment.

You will be part of a high performing team of skilled data professionals, such as Data Architects, Data Engineers, ML engineers & Data Analysts. You will closely collaborate with Digital Product Managers and Owners from Volvo Trucks. 

 

Your background: 

 

To be successful in this role, we belive that you have: 

 

  • Demonstrated experience as a Data Architect or in a senior data engineering role with architectural responsibilities on large-scale implementations.
  • Excellent at storytellingstakeholder management and communication skills who can lead dialogues with diverse stakeholders.
  • Deep expertise in Azure Data ServicesDatabricks, and related cloud technologies & tool ecosystem.
  • Advanced proficiency in data modeling techniques, including relationaldimensionalNoSQLGraphDB models.
  • Strong knowledge of API designevent-driven architectures, and streaming platforms
  • Familiarity with AI/ML integration, enabling seamless incorporation of AI models into enterprise workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelinesAzure DevOps, and infrastructure automation.
  • Skilled in SQLPython, and PySpark for data engineering and architectural validation.
  • Solid understanding of data governance frameworksGDPR compliance, and cloud security best practices.
  • Ability to produce wireframes, architectural diagrams, and comprehensive documentation for governance and review processes.

 

Nice to Have

 

  • Experience with Enterprise Architecture Frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman.
  • Experience with automotive industry will be a plus 

 

Location: 

 

We are seeking a new team member for our offices in Gothenburg, Sweden or Wroclaw, Poland. This is not a remote position. You will be required to work from the office for the majority of the time, with some flexibility.
