Infrastructure & Onsite Services (IOS)

Infrastructure & Onsite Services (IOS) is globally responsible for all Volvo Group D&IT infrastructure services. As most of these services are delivered by an IT partner, the mission is focused on Service Management, new service development, architecture and innovation, outsourcing partnership management, as well as managing the remaining IT infrastructure delivery teams in Volvo. 

 

Digital Workplace Services 

Digital Workplace Services is part of IOS and has the responsibility for delivering Digital Workplace Services to Volvo Group employees globally.  

We are now looking for a Service Leader Workplace & Digital Experience

You will play a key role in the team as responsible for Workplace Digital Experience and End User Hardware (Phones, Tablets, Computers, Monitors, etc.) services for Office usage.  

 

You will work with multiple stakeholders, such as Purchasing, HR, Real Estate, Merchandise, Volvo Group Business units and Suppliers, with the mission of delivering world class Digital Workplace Experience for our 100.000 Volvo Employees globally. 

 

You will be responsible for the Workplace Hardware Product Board - who is accountable for IT Hardware in Volvo Group and have multiple interactions with IT Hardware vendors.

Key Responsibilities 

 

Workplace Digital Experience 

  • Responsible for the delivery of Workplace Hardware and Digital Experience services ensuring that all services are delivered according to contract based on cost, volumes, and quality. 
  • Responsible for Global End user Digital Experience surveys 
  • Manage new and changed Workplace Hardware needs and interface with our global IT Hardware suppliers 
  • Lead the Workplace Hardware Product Board and workgroups 
  • Participate in and/or lead initiatives and related projects in the area 

Service Lifecycle, Strategy and Innovation

  • Together with the rest of the Digital Workplace team, manage the full lifecycle of Workplace Hardware & Digital Experience services within the Workplace area 
  • Responsible for the Strategy, Continual Improvement and Innovation of the area 

 

Required competencies and experience 

  • University/Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant area 
  • Minimum 5 years experience within the Workplace area 
  • Experience in Digital Workplace area 
  • Experience in IT hardware area; Mobile phones, tablets, computers, PC peripherals, etc. 
  • Experience in steering Projects and Analyzing business needs 
  • Complete proficiency in English 
  • Knowledge and experience of ITIL (SIAM is a plus)
