In this role you will be working in an area that is developing and supporting our future IT solutions in the production preparation area. We are in the middle of a transformation journey with the focus to transform and modernize our overall IT architecture. We are supporting the Volvo Group’s digital ambitions to become a fully agile, data-driven company. You will belong to an experienced team responsible for in house developed products. The team has the end-to-end responsibility for both new development and runtime, which provides great opportunities to grow. We work close with our stakeholders to improve their daily work.

You have long experience as a developer for digital products. We believe that this role requires solid communication skills and a passion for delivering digital products for high performing business users. You have a problem-solving mindset and you are working at ease in an environment which continuously is evolving. What will you do?
Your mission will be to deliver new modern products based on latest Microsoft technology in backend and JavaScript/Blazor for frontend. You will deliver in two product teams: NS (Product for preparations of Frames) and Delta (Product for Customer Adaptations)
You are responsible for developing products in the agile team, work with life-cycle management and secure that the code delivered is quality assured and meet the performance expected by the end users.
You will also secure that the digital product is developed and maintained in compliance with given architecture, security requirements and digital product strategy.
Competencies
Required key competencies:
- Great communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Possess an innovative and open mindset, and approach problems with a solution-oriented attitude.
- Possess a mindset of ownership.
- Passionate about engineering best practices, clean code, and automating routine tasks
- Senior profile with at least 5-10 years of experience in:
- .NET developer with strong proficiency in C#
- SQL server
- Full Stack (both back- and front end)
- C# (Blazor)
- Java script (React)
- Comfortable working in agile environments, embracing change, and encouraging collaboration across roles.
- Fluent in English and experienced working in international, cross-functional teams
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with security and quality tools such as SonarQube, DAST, SAST, and SCA
- Interest in or experience with business process domains like PDM especially in industrial or automotive sectors (Volvo Truck: Kola)
- Exposure to multi-site or global development environments
- Open mindset and interest in exploring how we can enhance ways of working with help of AI in manufacturing solutions
