What you will do

As a Senior Developer in PlanIT you will:

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain robust and scalable applications using modern software engineering principles.
  • Be an active member of both our spearhead network as well as our connected product teams contributing throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Drive continuous improvement in both technical solutions and development practices.
  • Mentor and support junior developers, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration.

You will join a dedicated, diverse team focused on quality, runtime stability, and continuous improvement. Our team operates close with the product teams within PlanIT cloud as well as surrounding components

This role is based in Arendal Göteborg, Sweden, and requires you to work on-site at our office.

Who are you?

We believe you are deeply technically skilled team worker willing to walk the extra mile to maintain and improve our solution and thereby contribute to efficient spare parts planning for AB Volvo Globally.

 

Essential requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with strong proficiency in JAVA, and Python
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and identity
  • management.
  • Experience with event-driven architectures (e.g., Apache Kafka).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as GitHub.
  • Solid understanding of automated test practices and SonarQube.
  • Experience working in Scrum or other agile methodologies.
  • Background in the automotive or manufacturing industry.

 

 

Nice to have:

  • Front end experience using REACT platform
  • Databricks experience
