The Volvo CE Parts & Services Marketplace is a core part of Volvo Connect, enabling dealers, customers, and internal teams to discover, purchase, subscribe to, and manage digital services and parts throughout the machine lifecycle. The marketplace supports complex B2B and B2B2C journeys such as service configuration, pricing, subscription management, provisioning, and billing, and is a key component of the Soft Offer Management (SOM) initiative that modernizes service order-to-delivery processes across Volvo CE. As a Senior UX Designer, you will help transform this complexity into intuitive, scalable, and reliable digital experiences used globally by dealers and customers.

Are you a seasoned UX designer with a passion for working in complex digital ecosystems? We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Senior UX Designer to join our Parts & Services Marketplace teams. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping user journeys across service and parts experiences, ensuring they are intuitive, efficient, and aligned with both user needs and business goals.You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with product teams, CX colleagues, developers, and stakeholders, while also contributing to the broader UX Chapter within Volvo Digital & IT through knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Execute a range of UX activities across marketplace platforms, ensuring the delivery of valuable, desirable, and intuitive solutions.
  • Translate complex business and system requirements into clear, user-centered design concepts and flows.
  • Visualize concepts and ideas through wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve user interfaces and end-to-end experiences across services and parts journeys.
  • Manage stakeholders effectively, understanding their needs and aligning design solutions with business and operational goals.
  • Communicate design intent and decisions clearly to both designers and non-designers.
  • Contribute to the development and application of UX best practices, methods, and ways of working.
  • Own the end-to-end design process from discovery and ideation to implementation and follow-up.Ensure designs comply with Volvo design guidelines, design systems, UX standards, brand, accessibility, and relevant legal requirements.
  • Mentor and support other designers through feedback, coaching, and knowledge sharing.Actively participate in the UX Chapter within Volvo Digital & IT.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, User Experience, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of professional experience in UX design.
  • Proven experience leading UX work in complex digital products or platforms.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating successful UX projects across different platforms and user groups.
  • Ability to present and justify design decisions to a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Experience with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite.
