Are you a highly experienced Service Designer, leading through facilitation and powered with a rangeof methods and tools coming from service design, but also business/systemic design?

You are a seriously experienced design thinker with a passion for solving complex business challenges from auser-centric perspective. You have a passion for and understand how to drive innovation contributing tobusiness results by taking an evidence-based approach.
As a Service Designer, you will champion user needs and act as a bridge between users, business andtechnical stakeholders. You will collaborate closely with multiple workstreams to ensure that user, business,and system requirements are aligned and integrated into the solution. You are a strategic thinker with your "boots on the ground", understanding where Service Design can make the most impact and adapt your toolbox accordingly.

 

Language requirements: You are fluent in English and French, both spoken and written.


Your responsibilities include:

  • engaging with a wide range of stakeholders to gather and synthesize requirements for service design andrelated deliverables.
  • facilitating workshops to collect input, foster collaboration, and align perspectives across different rolesand segments.
  • maintaining a holistic, "helicopter view" of the commercial landscape, including tools and ongoinginitiatives, to identify connections, opportunities and dependencies
  • aligning business goals with end-user experience of a products or service, working in the intersection ofuser-centred design and business strategy
  • apply design and design thinking to business challenges,
  • translate design solutions into value and impact for business stakeholders, and the other way around,
  • identify delivery gaps, minimise redundancies and waste caused by duplicated efforts and enabling thecreation and delivery of successful experiences across org divisions,
  • working hard to connect with all the front-line people who directly or indirectly will impact success, and
  • provide insight to the planning and organization of how the customer experience gets created and howthe internal parts of the organisation align to deliver the expected service,
  • apply human-centered methodologies to strengthen business and create services and products that areviable - collaborate closely with other Service and UX Designers.

 

You have prior experience with large organizations and complex projects. You understand technicalterminologies and effortlessly engage with product managers, architects, and software developers. Youunderstand what it entails to work in a digital product centric operating model. As an outcome-drivenprofessional, you serve as a reliable collaborator across all organizational levels. Your role involves supportingfellow designers in their quest for excellence, and you actively contribute to stakeholder’s visions, strategy, anddelivery to realize business value.
