About the role:
We are seeking a Simulation Engineer to join our Driving Simulator lab. As part of our interdisciplinary team, you will work alongside experts in 3D visualization, simulation, usability, and human factors. Your role will involve concept development, prototyping, and testing using our Virtual Reality rig and Driving simulators for early concept evaluations, demos, and product development. We believe that teamwork and collaboration are essential for developing great products and creating an attractive workplace.
Your tasks will include:
- Iterating and developing HMI prototypes with the latest concepts and future technologies.
- Operating and maintaining the driving simulators, including hardware and software components.
- Interacting confidently with colleagues, technical experts, and VIP visitors, adapting communication styles as needed.
- Approaching challenges with a proactive mindset and driving development.
Who are you?
If you have 3+ years of experience in simulation engineering, preferably within the automotive industry, this position might be for you. We are looking for an innovative doer and problem solver who is eager to be part of the ongoing transformation of the automotive business.
You should have:
- Good knowledge in prototyping, QT QML development, Unity, and Python.
- Experience in driving simulator development.
- A background in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or Computer Science.
- Some experience with electronics, such as Arduino development.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
