We are currently seeking dynamic individuals to join our API & Integration chapter, where you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development and adoption of cutting-edge API solutions.
What you will do
At Volvo Group Digital & IT, you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the transport industry and society at large.
And as a member of our API & Integration team, you will:
- Guide and support API providers in their API journey by offering expertise and advice on API & Integration topics.
- Evaluate, challenge, and define best practices for new way of working and emerging technologies.
- Build and maintain a toolkit framework to streamline API development and adoption processes.
- Create and maintain exhaustive documentation for API-providers with guidelines, standards, and best practices, aiming at ensuring consistency, scalability, and security across various teams at Volvo.
- Leverage Azure DevOps pipelines to ensure robust CI/CD pipelines, and continuously improve them.
Your future team
You will join TIL API team, consisting of 7 highly skilled members dedicated to API & Integration projects. They are eager to share their knowledge and collaborate with you!
Who are you?
Do you dream big? We do too, and we are excited to grow together. In this role, you will bring:
- Technical Expertise: Proven experience in API & Integration fields, with a strong focus on IBM & Azure technologies. Proficiency in working with IBM API Connect (APIC). Strong knowledge of REST and GraphQL standards, and experience with TypeScript, Python, or .NET for API development.
- Integration knowledge: Familiarity with integration flow patterns and event-driven architectures, with successful implementation experience. Understanding of security protocols such as OAuth2 and OpenID Connect.
- Cloud and Automation skills: Proficiency in Azure cloud services, especially PaaS services. Good knowledge of automation tools and techniques, and Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines.
- Professional Experience: Proven experience (6+ years) in API management, strategy, and development within a technology-driven environment. Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on the latest trends and technologies in the API & Integration field.
- Communication Skills: Clear communicator who can articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Adaptability: Flexible and resilient, able to handle changing requirements and new technologies.
