About Us :
You will belong to a team that works with project/program and portfolio management within Vehicle Technology, located in Gothenburg, Sweden. The team leads the major Software/mechatronic architecture projects within Vehicle Technology, coordinates the portfolio intake and governance of the projects. You will be reporting to the group manager for Portfolio & Solution Management at Portfolio Management & EE Architecture within the BASC function (Business Development, Architecture, Services and Connectivity) that has a framing responsibility for complete Vehicle Technology.
Do you have a passion for leading product development projects and driving technology solutions? You will lead projects within Vehicle Technology’s portfolio involving new software,functions and mechatronic solutions. The aim is to develop technology for sustainable and pioneering electronic and software products and services for future transport solutions.

Who are you?
To succeed in this role, we believe you have the following background and qualification:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering
- Experience in managing complex embedded systems (HW/SW) projects
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools
- Experience with Hybrid Agile principles and development environment
- Strong leadership skills to drive cross-functional collaboration and consensus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate ideas and influence stakeholders globally
- Strategic thinking for high-level planning and decision-making
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate challenges and find solutions
What’s in it for you?
As a Vehicle Technology Solution Manager, you will be leading projects and solutions from early pre-study phase to product launch, with emphasize on the earlier phases.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Communicate business values and project drivers clearly.
- Manage scope, balance requirements based on business value.
- Define and share time plans, milestones, integration points.
- Lead breakdown and refinements in an hybrid-agile environment
- Initiate and secure activities for Quality, Functional Safety and Cybersecurity.
- Oversee project costs with Portfolio managers' support.
- Ensure timely delivery per agreed plans and targets.
- Manage risks and address deviations.
- Maintain stakeholder communication, consolidate status, present in governance forums.
- Contribute to improving work processes as a team member.
