What you will do
At Volvo Buses you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the transport industry and society at large. You will contribute to our world-class development and integration of high voltage systems and components in our electrical vehicles and at the same time be part of a highly experienced and international team to secure that our products are competitive.
Your future team
Our team currently consist of 15 committed engineers with different professional backgrounds, interests and history but all with a common mindset: Develop ourselves and our products! On a constant basis, we try to improve our quality assurance and actively work with brainstorming & knowledge sharing in an effort to stay competitive and feel proud of our achievements.
Who are you?
Do you dream big? We do too, and we are excited to grow together. In this role, you will need to be a skilled team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills that is genuinely interested in product development and sharing your knowledge. M.Sc. or higher education in Electrical, Electronics or Automation Engineering or similar is required.
Experience is required in high voltage systems with the ability to understand high voltage components, functionality and safety systems connected to this. Being responsable for the complete integrated system, skills in CATIA and SABER are highly valuable. Previous experience from electrified vehicles, charging infrastructure and/or battery system is considered as meritorious.
As system owner, you will be managing the teams backlog. For this, you need to have a good engineering judgement and priorities as well as the ability and interest to technically support and challenge colleagues in their work and their mindset.
You like to share your passion for technical solution and you have a strong analytical and problem-solving skills. As a person you are positive, you displan driving force and have a structural way of working.
