System Verification Engineer

What you will do
At Verification Framework & Integration our mission is to establish a design, build and test environment, which enables continuous deployment within manual and automated testing. Our goals are to reduce the lead time-to-market and increase product quality. Our great and experienced team is responsible for building test hardware, testing all internally developed software and supporting the tool chain at Connectivity in Volvo Group Trucks Technology.
Responsibilites:
- Keep track of needs from the agile release train.
- Identify the Topologies and ECUs needed for testing.
- Work with Product Owners to get timelines for sourcing prototype ECUs.
- Work with Product Owners to get information about changes, RMS and more.
- Assemble rig prototypes.
- Load base software in rigs and test functionality.
- Design new rig types (3D drawing and printing)
- Write and maintain Python programs for simulations.
Who are you?
We believe that you are a passionate engineer with an agile approach and have a big interest in hardware and electronics. To be successful in this position, we believe that you have some years of experience with design, development and assembly. You have been working with vendors and partners to coordinate deliveries.
Requirements:
- M.Sc. Or B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering, mechanical engineering or
similar. - 3D modeling experience.
- Experience from drawing blueprints.
- Automotive industry experience and knowledge.
- Truck driver's license C.
- Certificate for “Hot work” .
- Experience of working with Electrical safety for battery-electric vehicle.
