System Verification Engineer

Introduction
We are looking for a Verification Engineer that can join our group Inhouse Software Development within the department Electrical & Software Architecture. Volvo Bus Corporation (VBC) inherit big parts of the software from Group Trucks Technology (GTT) but some parts we develop ourself within our group; Instrument Cluster (IC3 + IC-gfx) and the Body Builder interface nodes (BBM, BIM, BIO).
To succeed in the role as verification engineer you shall have the interest in test and verification. Years of experience is valuable but interest and a front-leaning personality strikes high for this position.
Main area of responsibility
- Component testing in HIL rig and BoxBus
- Fault tracing
- Develop, write, preform and report test cases based on the requirement or system
- Bug fixes
- Securing quality and readiness before release
You will be included in one of our teams and work according to the Lean way of working
This is you
- B.Sc. or M.Sc degree in electrical/ software engineering or equivalent
- Test and verification experience, preferrable from automotive
- Programming experience (preferrable Python, Bash or CAPL)
- Self-motivated, you will belong to an experienced team but must be able to take own initiative
Nice to have
- Experience from Vector tools such as CANalyzer and CANoe
