Where you fit in

 

Cash Management is a global team of three within Group Treasury. We work closely with stakeholders all over the Volvo Group and with our global banking partners. 

 

Cash Management responsibility is to ensure a secure and efficient payment infrastructure, enabling future development of the Volvo Group offering.

Data management and data analysis are increasingly important as an enabler for better decision making and we work actively to improve data quality.

 

As part of this team, you will work closely with many different stakeholders, sometimes as part of a larger team in bigger projects, and sometimes independently. 

What we do

 

Group Treasury is a global function within Group Finance. We support the Volvo Group in all countries with financial risk matters. We have Treasury offices in Gothenburg, Singapore, Beijing, Greensboro and Curitiba. 

 

The Group Treasury mission is to secure the Group’s payment capability and proactively manage financial risks. Responsibilities include funding, liquidity management, FX operations, capital structure, rating analysis, financial infrastructure, and adherence to Volvo Group Financial Risk Policy.  

 

The Cash management function is responsible for selecting banking partners to build and maintain a payment infrastructure for Treasury as well as Volvo Group operations. Focus is on efficiency, robustness and future proofing.

To thrive in this position, you likely have these qualifications:

 

  • University degree in finance or similar.
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience. 
  • Meriting with experience from a similar role in another mid- or large-sized company, and/or bank. 
  • Experience from large scale implementation projects.
  • A genuine interest in financial markets, and curiosity about treasury operations.
  • Team player with strong communication and networking skills.
  • Experience of reviewing legal agreements.
  • Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English and Swedish.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
    Integrity and ethics.
  • Multicultural awareness.
  • Strong interest in digital transformation and data awareness. 


The position is based in Gothenburg with occasional travelling.
