New VIE assignment: Commodity Buyer, Gothenburg, Sweden. Duration: 13 months. Start date: September 1st.
What you will do
In this role, you will drive purchasing activities within the PCU and Engine Valve Set scope and play a central part in securing a competitive, sustainable supply base.
You will craft and implement purchasing strategies, optimize the supplier base for quality, capacity, cost and sustainability, and help pioneer best-in-class purchasing processes. Together with cross-functional stakeholders, you will lead continuous improvement initiatives, contribute to team development, and share benchmarks, ideas and coaching support when relevant.
Your future team
You will join the PCU and Engine Valve Set purchasing team, working closely with a cross-functional network across engineering, quality, logistics and project functions in a collaborative, improvement-focused environment.

Essential requirements: You are proficient in English, hold a Master degree in a business-related field, and have strong negotiation and problem-solving skills. You are also willing to travel when business needs require it.
Early exposure to purchasing, supply chain, or stakeholder management in an international environment.
