This VIE assignment is based in Gothenburg, Sweden, starts on September 1, and will run for 13 months.

You will join the Energy Auxiliaries and Braking Systems team. A passionate team, creating business value in an open and multicultural, dynamic environment with innovative products. What you will do

You will contribute to Braking Systems purchasing commodity with the operational, project and sourcing activities. You will drive and lead projects and operations in line with the segment business plan and contribute to the segment strategy by leading negotiations and building relationships with an international supplier base.

The Buyer is accountable for the QDCFTSR (quality, delivery, cost, feature, technology, sustainability & risk) of the supplier base on the segment. You will, as a member of the purchasing team develop and implement the strategy in strong collaboration with the global buyer network as well as the cross-functional colleagues. That means e.g.: 

 

  • Drive the implementation of the strategy in strong collaboration with the global purchasing team and stakeholders
  • Define and enable activities required to excel the competitive advantage in the full QDCF-TSR (quality, delivery, cost, feature, technology, sustainability & risk)
  • Work on transversal activities to improve the segment performance
  • Contribute to the team culture with high engagement

  • You can build and maintain strong relationships with your counterparts in the internal and external ecosystem
  • You are always striving to improve both yourself and your work environment 
  • You are driven, responsible and accountable for your deliveries
  • University degree (Bachelor or Master), preferably in business or engineering
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • Creative and solution-oriented mindset
  • Positive mindset and team player
