What you will do

At Volvo Group, you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the transport industry, and society at large. As a Verification and Validation Project Manager, you will: 

 

  • Create a V&V time plan for complete vehicle and chassis, including requested V&V activities, and other relevant tasks that may influence the plan (preparation, rebuilds, de-preparation, etc.).
  • Lead the test planning throughout the project, follow-up the progress with requesters.
  • Analysis of the test need within a project, and optimization together with test engineers, project manager, and other stakeholders.
  • Secure resource allocation, together with the workshop, the testing team, Hällered, etc.
  • Gather and manage tests requests.
  • Coordinate V&V tests and test engineers, including test leaders within product development.
  • Support to secure V&V test objects, transports, drivers, and loading.
  • Secure test facilities & purchase orders for these.

 

Your future team

You will join a dedicated, diverse team focused on verification, end product validation, test objects management and continuous improvement. Our team is part of the Verification and Validation department which consists of test leaders, testing team, realiability features leader, workshop, material controllers and rebuild leaders. Our team operates close together to ensure that the companys verification and validation activities runs smoothly.

 

This role is based in Arendal in Gothenburg, Sweden.

  • Experience working in Scrum or other agile methodologies.
