Sales Administrator 12 Months Maternity Cover – Glasgow
Location: Glasgow Cardonald G51 4GA, with once a week travel to Edinburgh/Volvo Trucks Broxburn.
Salary up to £26,000 and Bonus
Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 5.00 pm – 1 hour lunch 37.5-hour week
A full UK driving licence is required

We are seeking a Sales Administrator who enjoys working with detail and supporting a busy retail sales team. In this role you will ensure that all aspects of vehicle sales administration are handled with precision and professionalism. This includes everything from processing customer orders to preparing vehicles for delivery and completing registration and invoicing. Your work will help us maintain a smooth and reliable sales process.

Who are you?
Previous experience in the automotive sector would be an advantage but we are looking for someone with experience in the following;
- A full and valid UK driving licence
- A good understanding of sales processes and working with large customer accounts
- Confidence using MS Office
- Practical experience using Excel including building and updating spreadsheets, applying filters and using basic formulas
- Experience using Salesforce would be advantageous
- Experience with vehicle registration and invoicing
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- A positive and team focused approach
What You Will Do
You will support the full sales process by ensuring every stage of vehicle administration is accurate, well organised and delivered on time.
- Process and manage new vehicle orders using internal systems
- Update and amend orders and track progress until delivery
- Coordinate with suppliers to book required work
- Manage purchase orders for each deal
- Keep customers updated on delivery timelines and highlight any risks
- Complete vehicle registration and invoicing and monitor GP variance
- Work with customers on truck orders and liaise with finance companies regarding payments
- Coordinate with vehicle movement partners when needed
Your New Colleagues
You will work closely with the Truck Sales Executive based in Broxburn. You will support the full sales process from start to finish and will visit the Broxburn site once a week.
You will also join a team of very experienced Sales Administrators who have spent many years working within Volvo Trucks.
