Location: Glasgow West office, Hybrid (Working 60% in the office)
Occasional Travel to Dealer Depots and Recruitment events across Scotland and the North of England

Who Are You?
You are motivated by connecting great talent with the right opportunities!
- You will have recruitment experience (in-house or agency) with a focus on roles such as HGV Technicians and Parts Advisors or similar positions in related industries.
- Confidence in managing end-to-end recruitment, from sourcing to offer stage
- Experience using Indeed and LinkedIn to attract and source candidates
- Proficiency with internal CRM systems to track candidates, manage talent pools, and build pipelines
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, etc.)
- Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise your accountabilities, working independently and as part of the wider talent & acquisition team.
- A collaborative mindset, thriving in partnership with all key stakeholders.
- Resilience and adaptability to support recruitment needs across multiple brands and functions
Meet Your New Colleagues
Our People Services team is the backbone of Volvo Group’s Global People & Culture organisation. Bringing together Talent Acquisition, HR Administration and Payroll, we’re committed to delivering exceptional service that reflects our core values.
As part of our Talent Acquisition team, you’ll support 12 sites across the North of England and Scotland, from Teesside to Inverness, covering multiple Volvo Group brands. You will also work closely with our Colleague Engagement Consultant on apprenticeship intakes and partner with hiring managers across the region.
What You Will Do
- Recruit with Purpose: Proactively manage the recruitment process, leveraging your sourcing skills through Indeed, LinkedIn and other job boards, as well as proactive searching and building talent pipelines to find the right candidates for hard-to-fill roles.
- Be a Trusted Advisor: Guide and coach hiring managers through the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring it is consistent, fair and unbiased.
- Deliver Exceptional Candidate Experiences: Work closely with your team to ensure every candidate feels valued and informed throughout their journey with us.
- Build Strong Relationships: Partner with People & Culture Business Partners and hiring managers to understand their needs and help them attract the best talent.
- Champion Volvo Group Brands: Immerse yourself in our brand culture and share it with potential employees through authentic and engaging employer branding.
- Keep Systems Up to Date: Use our CRM systems to track candidates, keep detailed notes and maintain talent pools and pipelines.
- Work with Agencies: Manage relationships with agencies on our Preferred Supplier List, ensuring alignment with our ways of working and Volvo Group values.
- Measure Success: Report on key recruitment metrics and gather feedback to continuously improve our processes.
