Responsible for daily operations leading our service team and managing the workload for our Service department. We are seeking an outgoing professional with experience in customer satisfaction, management, and mechanical knowledge. Core Responsibilities
•    Increase service sales.
•    Respect all company policies, safety regulations, rules, and values of Prevost.
•    Ensure high quality customer service. 
•    Effectively utilize and lead service technicians.
•    Contribute to the attainment of company objectives through the efficient use of resources.
•    Foster teamwork and positive communication between employees and all business sectors.
•    Coordinate training of service technicians and assist with personal development plans.
•    Ensure customer satisfaction with repair and support Prevost Red Carpet Policy Standards.
•    Monitor operational expenses of service department.
•    Supervise service department and team leaders for workload and meeting customer demands.
•    Review budgets and assess business needs.

 

Required Competencies
•    Mechanical knowledge
•    Ability to estimate a mechanical repair
•    Contact customers to fill service schedule
•    Financial responsibility of department expenses
•    Communicate clearly with customers, managers, and employees. 
•    Teamwork/ team building
•    Record keeping, research and documentation skills
•    Resolve customer discrepancies
•    Understand and enforce warranty policy
•    Excellent organizational skills
•    Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
•    Lift up to 51 lbs.

 

Minimum Education Required
•    Minimum High School Education
•    Bachelor’s Degree preferred
•    Minimum of 8 years of industry related knowledge and experience
•    Prior Service Manager experience preferred

 

At the Volvo Group, we strive for a clear, transparent, and straightforward compensation approach, motivating you to contribute to the company’s growth. For this position, the base pay is set at $$88,000 to $98,000 annually, and where applicable, bonus eligible.  The range for this role, as well as final salary offered, is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, work-related knowledge, certifications, skills, education, and experience. In addition to these factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer.
