Job Summary
The Service Coordinator communicates with customers and the shop. Prevost is looking for someone in the auto/truck repair industry that can efficiently schedule shop repairs and speak to customers about issues and costs. If you prioritize customer satisfaction, timeliness, and strong communication skills, you will be an ideal candidate.
Core Responsibilities:
- Welcome customers or respond to customer phone requests
- Finalize work order processing and invoicing
- Distribute and keep technical information up-to-date
- Train co-workers on various aspects of their work responsibilities or expertise, as requested
- Handle a high volume of calls
- Process work orders
- Close repair orders
- Coordinate for repair estimates with Technicians and Managers
Required Competencies:

- Foster teamwork and improved communications between sectors

Minimum Education Required:
- HS diploma or GED Preferred
- One year vocational training or two years in the automotive/truck/bus industry Preferred
- Good communication skills
- Technical knowledge is a strong plus
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Working knowledge of SAP preferred
Minimum Years of Experience Required:
- 3-5 years of customer service experience
