Experienced Bus Mechanical Service Technician (6 Positions available)

 

If you are currently working as Bus Technician (mechanic) or truck technician (mechanic) (Volvo engine preferred) and would like a change from flat rate to an hourly rate with great benefits, this place is for you! Come work with Prevost and get paid while you develop your mechanical skills.

Position Description:

  • Respect and care for the customer and their equipment.
  • Develop personal, professional, and technical skills on an ongoing basis.
  • Always act as a worthy representative of Prevost.
  • Foster teamwork and improved communication between sectors.
  • Respect the rules and guidelines of the company.
  • Comply with the quality and safety standards of the organization.
  • Provide customer service while upholding the level of performance and quality of the motorcoach to ensure repeat business and continued loyalty of our customers.
  • Diagnose and repair customer equipment.
  • Complete documentation thoroughly and in time according to company requirements.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment on a continuous basis.
  • Verify the materials and equipment used in compliance with ISO guidelines

 

Minimum requirements:

  • High school degree or equivalent (preferred)
  • 1 year vocational (preferred)
  • 2 years or more on-the-job related experience
  • Ability to read and write.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Possess basic tool set
  • Lifting heavy objects
  • Standing long periods of time
