What you will do
Volvo Financial Services’ Insurance Sales Leads serve a critical function within the organization: to educate and consultatively transact with Truck and Construction Equipment insurance buyers and key influencers to help them optimize their insurance programs efficiently, accurately, and cost-effectively. The Insurance Sales Lead makes customers and dealers aware of both traditional and new products and services, explains product and service benefits, and ensures a thorough understanding of products and services. Production of new customer accounts is central to this role, and sales targets are expected to be met and exceeded. The Insurance Sales Lead is individually responsible for prospecting and selling to targeted customer segments by offering product and program options. Just as importantly, the Insurance Sales Lead will develop collaborative relationships with prospects, customers, and stakeholders across the Volvo Group that will make positive and lasting impacts on their businesses and prosperity.
This position reports to and is managed day-to-day by the Manager Insurance Sales and will be located at Volvo Financial Services’ US headquarters in Greensboro, NC.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain collaborative and productive relationships with stakeholders across the Volvo Group, with emphasis on Truck and CE channel sales and dealer F&I personnel.
• Educate, inspire, and transact consultatively with these stakeholders to enhance their knowledge, understanding, and comfort level with Volvo Insurance Services’ products, services, and processes.
• Advise these stakeholders on Volvo Insurance Services’ existing and emerging products and services.
• Coordinate and conduct regular insurance coaching sessions for dealers and VFS personnel.
• Meet and exceed sales goals – new insurance customer sales production is central to this role.
• Travel as necessary, at times extensively.
• Deliver insurance services in accordance with company business standards.
• Maintain compliance with all insurance and company regulatory requirements.

Education/Certification:
• BA/BS in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field preferred.
• Advanced insurance designations, such as CPCU, CIC, ARM, etc. are a plus.
• Current P&C license with the ability to become licensed in non-resident states as needed.
• Life, Accident & Health licensure is a plus.
Experience:
• Proven experience (5-6+ years) in commercial insurance; trucking insurance and/or construction equipment insurance experience a plus.
• Experience working with multiple insurance carriers to bring forth complete commercial lines P&C insurance solutions.
• Proven experience in sales, and in building and maintaining a book of commercial lines insurance business.
