Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Autonomous Driving Intern. This internship provides hands-on experience in autonomous driving and robotics within a global company. The intern will support the development, integration, and testing of autonomous vehicle systems, working with real-world data and vehicle platforms. This part-time role is designed to complement ongoing academic studies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support development of autonomous transport systems and vehicle platforms for hub-to-hub and confined-area operations.
- Work with autonomy enabled vehicle, configuration, and operational data to support system analysis, testing, and performance evaluation.
- Assist with integration of autonomous systems across perception, planning, control, and vehicle platforms.
- Participate in field testing and validation of autonomous transport solutions.
- Collaborate with engineering, product and solutions teams to improve safety, robustness, and operational reliability.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, and Computer Engineering, or a related field and have completed 30 semester hours of undergraduate studies.
- Positive, proactive attitude with a “can-do” mindset.
- Enjoys exploring new challenges and navigating uncertainty.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
- Curious and eager to learn, experiment, and grow.
- Collaborative with good communication and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; willingness to learn finance software.
- Summer interns may work up to 40 hours per week.
- Applicants must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.75.
