What is the job?
As a Brand, Culture & Customer Experience Intern at Volvo Trucks North America (VTNA), you’ll support multiple departments that involve enhancing the employee’s work experience at Volvo Trucks, NA. You will support Strategy & Governance, Brand Marketing Communications and People & Culture. In this multi-functional role you will be focusing on initiatives such as customer data analysis & reports, field team support with Qualtrics, brand ambassador and blue spirit programs and designing a career development platform. You’ll help assist with employee engagement initiatives alongside these different areas reporting to the head of People & Culture. This role provides practical experience in analytics, events and communications to strengthen the VTNA brand.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist People & Culture with developing a career progression platform.
- Support Customer Experience deep-dive studies on focused areas.
- Support effective use of the Customer Experience Management platform.
- Support with internal communications content development and design.
- Assist with planning and organizing internal events, meetings, and workshops.
- Assist with presentation development.
- Help update processes and workflows and support continuous improvement.
We’re Looking for the Following Education, Experience, and Skills:
- Team player with strong verbal and written communications skills
- Strong interest in analytics
- Strong organizational, planning and project management skills
- Focused attention to detail with the ability to work in a cross-functional team environment and prioritize workloads.
- Ability to learn quickly and take initiative.
- Efficient with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word & Excel)
Essential Educational and/or Training Qualifications and Certificates:
- Applicant must be currently enrolled and pursuing a bachelor’s degree in digital marketing communications, business communications, or a related marketing field at an accredited school and have completed 30 semester hours of undergraduate studies prior to the start of the internship.
- Summer interns may work up to 40 hours per week
- Minimum GPA 2.75/4.0 and in good academic standing
