What you will do
As a Brand, Marketing & Communications Intern at Volvo Trucks North America (VTNA), you’ll support digital marketing initiatives such as web content updates, campaign optimization, performance marketing, lead generation, and email marketing. You’ll help manage digital assets, analyze web and social media data, and assist with event planning alongside the Marcom & Events Manager. This role provides practical experience in marketing automation, events, reporting, and communications to strengthen the VTNA brand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in web content updates & projects for www.volvotrucks.us
- Aligning with our 2026 digital strategy, continued support of performance marketing including email, lead generation, and lead scoring
- Assist in tracking the performance of digital marketing campaigns using tools (Google Analytics) and prepare reports to share insights with the team
- Assist in the collection, and analysis of quarterly web and social media statistics
- Maintain with uploading, organizing, optimizing and tagging photo/video assets in the VTNA Digital Asset Management (DAM) tool
- Tradeshows and Events (supporting Marcom & Events Manager)
- Trade show logistics and event coordination (ATA MCE, TMC)
- Planning & Show Plan document creation
- OPR/PO support
- Master Sales Leader Program planning
- Writing weekly Up to Speed (supporting Dealer Comms Manager)
We’re Looking for the Following Education, Experience, and Skills:
- Team player with strong verbal and written communications skills
- Strong interest in digital marketing, marketing automation, and analytics
- Strong organizational, planning and project management skills
- Focused attention to detail with the ability to work in a cross-functional team environment and prioritize workloads.
- Ability to learn quickly and take initiative.
- Efficient or knowledgeable with marketing tools (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Google Analytics, SEM Rush)
- Efficient with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word & Excel)
- Efficient with design tools (Canva, Adobe Suite)
Ready for the next move?
Applicant must be currently enrolled and pursuing a bachelor’s degree in digital marketing communications, business communications, or a related marketing field at an accredited school and have completed 30 semester hours of undergraduate studies prior to the start of the internship.
Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.75.
Summer interns may work up to 40 hours per week.
Graduate students are welcome to apply as well.
