What You will be doing
The Project Management intern role within our Trucks Technology & Industrial Organization provides business and engineering students with the opportunity to apply academic knowledge and skills in a professional environment. The Project Management department at Service Operations & Technology area under Aftermarket team is responsible for E2E flow on Service activities. In this role you will support tracking clear and actionable deliverables and owners, ensuring clear communication channels, identifying and securing risk mitigation plans, achieving quality, cost, and delivery targets, and executing change management throughout the project.
Responsibilities:
- Support in evaluating the performance of our current Projects
- Support to create a Project Dashboard using Power Bi, Power Apps and/or AI tools.
- Aid in ensuring projects are delivered on time with the agreed quality, cost, and features according to the plan.
- Prepare necessary project status, management project reviews and/or steering committee documents and presentations
- Support with identifying and managing risks with risk mitigation plans
- Secure our internal Aftermarket functions, like Diagnostic and Service & Parts, Maintainability are delivering according to the initial plans.
- Collaborate with our Teams: Purchasing, Engineering, Reman, Brand and Logistics.
- Utilize Microsoft tools to create reports and dashboards
- Support project managers in their day-to-day activities
- Participate in project meetings
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Engineering, or related field. Your degree must be at an accredited school, and you need to have completed 30 semester hours prior to the start of the internship.
- Minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.75
- To qualify, applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States, and should not require, now or in the future, sponsorship for employment visa status
- Summer Interns may work up to 40 hours per week

You are an Engineering or Business student student who is prepared to work in a challenging and fast-paced environment, gaining experience and knowledge in various aspects of engineering (or mechanical, electrical, software, design, production, etc.). As a valued member of the engineering team within our organization, you will have the opportunity to work directly with the engineers in the department. We value collaboration and life-long learning and our goal is to contribute to your development while providing you an opportunity to work in a business environment within the manufacturing industry. You will report to the Aftermarket Technology Project Office Manager.
