National Account Support Manager

What you will do

As a National Account Support Manager, you will work with National Account Managers to develop customer proposals for transport solutions and provide quote to delivery support for orders. You will ensure product is built and delivered on time while ready to run.

 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Manage the complete sales process from quote, order, and delivery for National Account customers on over 10,000 vehicles and $750+ M of retail sales revenue per year.
  • Provide technical specification guidance to sales force and department personnel.
  • Process customer purchase orders to ensure that new truck orders are built as ordered and delivered on-time and defect free.
  • Provide accurate vehicle status reports on a scheduled or requested basis.
  • Work with department personnel to provide accurate and timely accounting and payment of over $1 million in vendor payments.
  • Provide accurate billing information to other departments to receive customer payments in a timely manner.
  • Ability to prioritize workload to meet customer expectations for timely responses.
  • Identify and attend required training to maximize our responses to exceed internal and external customer’s expectations.
  • Analyze current processes and recommend changes that will enhance our response to internal and external customer’s expectations.
  • Meet with National Account customers to obtain feedback on their Volvo experience and implement changes needed to exceed their expectations.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Who are you?

In this role, you will bring:

  • General understanding of all the components to develop major fleet proposals.
  • General knowledge of how to specify a truck.
  • Knowledgeable of latest technologies to provide recommendations.
  • General understanding of the electronic data book processes and all related functions.
  • General knowledge of all the order management systems at Volvo and other key Vendors.
  • Working knowledge of TSP (sales ordering tools).
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
  • Entry level accounting knowledge.
  • Continuous improvement mindset.

Education and Experience:

  • At least an Associate’s in Business Administration/related discipline.
  • Or equivalent experience required of at least 3 years of experience within heavy truck related companies.
  • 1-3 years preferred within Volvo Group.

For this position, the base pay is set at $83,500.00 - $103,100.00 annually, and where applicable, bonus eligible.  The range for this role, as well as final salary offered, is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, work-related knowledge, certifications, skills, education, and experience. In addition to these factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer.
