What you will do

Position Summary

The National Accounts Parts Manager is responsible for developing and managing strategic relationships with national fleet customers to drive aftermarket parts sales, increase OEM parts penetration, and support long-term revenue growth. This role works closely with dealer partners, fleet procurement teams, and internal sales leadership to ensure national account customers receive consistent support, competitive programs, and high levels of service across the dealer network.

 

The position plays a key role in expanding aftermarket market share by aligning OEM parts programs with the operational needs of large fleet customers.

 

Key Responsibilities

National Fleet Account Management

  • Develop and manage relationships with national fleet customers.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for national fleet parts programs.
  • Identify opportunities to increase parts penetration across fleet maintenance operations.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with fleet leadership to evaluate performance and growth opportunities.

 

Sales Growth & Revenue Development

  • Drive growth in parts sales within assigned national accounts.
  • Develop strategic sales plans to expand aftermarket revenue and increase overall brand relationship.
  • Identify opportunities to convert competitive aftermarket products to OEM solutions.
  • Support dealer partners in executing national account sales strategies.

 

Dealer Network Collaboration

  • Partner with dealer parts and service teams to ensure strong execution of national fleet programs.
  • Coordinate communication between fleets and dealer locations to improve service consistency.
  • Provide guidance and support to dealers on national account opportunities and pricing programs.

 


Strategic Program Development

  • Develop fleet-focused aftermarket programs that support customer uptime and cost-efficiency.
  • Analyze fleet purchasing trends, maintenance patterns, and product demand.
  • Collaborate with product management, pricing, and marketing teams to optimize offerings.

 

Market & Competitive Analysis

  • Monitor aftermarket industry trends and competitor activity.
  • Provide feedback to internal leadership on fleet needs and market opportunities.
  • Identify new national account prospects within key fleet segments.

Who are you?

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or relevant work experience.

 

Experience

  • 10 or more years of experience in heavy-duty truck parts sales, aftermarket sales, or fleet account management.
  • Experience working with dealer networks and national fleet customers preferred.
  • Strong understanding of heavy-duty truck parts, maintenance operations, and aftermarket distribution.

At the Volvo Group, we strive for a clear, transparent, and straightforward compensation approach, motivating you to contribute to the company’s growth. For this position, the base pay is set at $128,300 - $158,400 annually, and where applicable, bonus eligible.  The range for this role, as well as final salary offered, is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, work-related knowledge, certifications, skills, education, and experience. In addition to these factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer.
