What you will do
As a Project Manager you will be involved throughout the lifecycle of on-going technical enhancements and product offerings. You will follow a "stage-gate" process, and deliver the product offerings, including key metrics at each gate such as quality, time plans, product/project cost, and vehicle attributes (features).
You will be responsible for:
- Effectively communicating active project deliveries to the line organization during team meetings, ensuring transparency and alignment throughout the project execution.
- Ensuring the successful completion of project and maintenance deliveries within your area of responsibility, while meeting the committed Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Feature (QDCF) targets.
- Collaborating directly with the line organization to define deliverables for respective groups and assisting in securing annual budget estimates and necessary resources to support the project deliveries.
- Clear communication of requirements and deliverables for each system/component, in accordance with the global development process to maintain alignment throughout the development cycle.
- Leading/participate Program Increment activities related to the Agile methodology, employing a cadence-based approach within the development teams to drive efficient progress.
- Identifying and managing dependencies across different functions and Agile release trains, fostering collaboration and effective cross-functional communication.
- Creating and driving comprehensive project time plans that encompass all necessary activities to ensure the full verification and validation of components, systems, and functions to ensure high-quality deliveries.
In summary, as Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and delivering successful projects, driving collaboration, and ensuring adherence to key metrics and project timelines throughout the product development lifecycle.

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering; Master’s degree preferred
• 3-5+ years of product development experience or project management, preferably in class 8 heavy duty truck development
• Familiar with engineering quality assurance related tools (Failure Mode Effects Analysis, Design for Assembly, Design for Aftermarket, etc.)
• The ability to work in cross-functional teams to communicate and agree on the designs for assembly, cost, sourcing, and aftermarket servicing.
• SAFe Agile Certification preferred.
• Experience from working as a SCRUM Master, Release Train Engineer, or process champion in an agile team setup.
• Should have demonstrated leadership experience in working closely with Multiple Stakeholder.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with positive personality and “can do” attitude.
• Able to manage multiple projects in parallel and be agile in a dynamic environment.
• Be customer oriented.
