Make an Impact Where Credit Expertise Drives Business Growth

At Volvo Financial Services (VFS), we do more than evaluate risk. We partner with dealers and customers to create financing solutions that help businesses grow. We're looking for credit professionals who understand that strong underwriting is not just about identifying risk, but about structuring solutions that responsibly support customer success and business growth.

If you thrive in a fast-paced credit environment, enjoy balancing risk with opportunity, and like finding ways to get deals done, we'd like to hear from you.

As part of the Volvo Group, VFS provides financing solutions supporting customers across trucking, construction, bus, and emerging e-mobility industries.

About the Role

•    Present clear credit recommendations and risk assessments to Retail Credit leadership.
•    Ensure compliance with Know Your Customer (KYC), OFAC, documentation, collateral perfection, and company credit policies.
•    Participate in portfolio reviews and post-mortem analyses to identify trends, strengthen decision-making, and support continuous improvement.

What Makes You Successful

You can confidently communicate credit decisions, negotiate transaction structures, and build trusted relationships with both internal and external partners. You are comfortable working in a dynamic environment where priorities shift and each day brings new learning opportunities. You can assess risk, identify mitigating factors, and leverage your judgment to make thoughtful credit recommendations.

Experience evaluating non-prime, near-prime, thin-file, start-up, or challenged-credit applicants is highly valued. We welcome candidates from a variety of lending and underwriting backgrounds who bring strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and a customer-focused approach to credit decisioning.
