What you will do

As the Salesforce Analytics & Data Specialist, you will work as the primary resource focused on analyzing and visualizing data within the Group Trucks North America Salesforce org, using Sales and Experience Cloud to build an enhanced overall dealer and user experience.  You will work in an environment focused on inclusion, value creation and innovation with our internal network of employees and partners within Digital & IT, Regions, Dealers and Customer.  As a part of which you will develop stronger working relationships with our cross-functional chapters and teams impacting the digital interaction within Mack Trucks and Volvo Trucks North America. 

 

You will leverage data to deliver business requirements and identify opportunities for growth and/or improvements within the business processes enable within the Salesforce org.  You need to be able to comprehend, connect and visualize data using Salesforce analytic capabilities, to enable and increase understanding by user and decision makers.  You will monitor and build data models to improve data quality and standard reports which are delivered to a wide user community. 

 

You have a logical, analytical, and creative approach to problems and the ability to communicate with customers, colleagues, and management to explain complex issues. 

  

Responsibilities will include the assessment of new technologies, platform integrations and solution identification/design from a data point of view, all while working in a fast-paced environment. Work in a team centric environment where a culture of innovation allows your input and ideas to become part of the solution. Collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver on a backlog of project and maintenance work, develop plan for delivering on commitments, and then execute on those plans following agile methodologies. 

 

Core Responsibilities: 

 

  • Responsible for creation and maintenance of analytics capabilities required to communicate the desired message for business processes embedded within the org 
  • Regularly review and assess the suite of Salesforce analytics tools and capabilities to ensure that the appropriate tools are approved, licensed and available within the org 
  • Use Salesforce analytics tools and capabilities to identify and visualize trends within the data to drive business processes and user adoption 
  • Ensure alignment of reports and dashboards with data schema and Salesforce best practices  
  • Responsible for monitoring the state of data within the GTNA Salesforce Org in order to identify potential concerns and use cases 
  • Work with non-Salesforce teams to identify original source of data and means by which to consume the data into the GTNA org 
  • Partner with stakeholders and users to highlight the importance of maintaining their own data 
  • Resolve data quality concerns identified within the Salesforce org, even if original source of the data is outside of the GTNA Org 
  • Execute declarative items within the GTNA Salesforce Org as required for data quality and reports & dashboards 

Who are you?

  • 2-5 years’ experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst/Administrator 
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with team members in a global setting
  • Exposure to the breath of the Salesforce ecosystems solutions (Sales, Service, Experience, Data Clouds along with knowledge of CPQ, Account Engagement, Salesforce Maps, etc.)
  • Advanced understanding of Salesforce data sharing and visibility models
  • Creative and analytical thinker with problem-solving skills, and ability to work with various departments and foster teamwork 
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle simultaneous requests, and manage laterally and upwards
  • BS/BA degree, or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge skills and abilities
