What you will do
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Solution Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, presenting, and implementing tailored technical solutions that meet our clients' needs. Your responsibilities will span technology assessments, robust system design, proof‑of‑concept development, and the enablement of data-driven insights - all within a fast‑paced, agile setting. Main Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product owners to understand client requirements and develop comprehensive technical solutions.
- Conduct technical presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept sessions for technical and leadership teams.
- Design scalable, reliable, and secure solutions aligned with client needs, industry best practices, established architectural guidelines.
- Provide technical expertise, including involvement in RFPs and RFIs.
- Aid in the development of technical proposals, architecture diagrams, and implementation plans.
- Support the deployment and integration of solutions, ensuring smooth implementation and client satisfaction.
- Lead and collaborate with technical experts in the design of complex data ingestion and visualization pipelines.
- Build and maintain backend toolsets that facilitate the deployment of QuickSight assets across AWS accounts.
- Function as a technical advisor to customers, offering guidance on best practices and optimization.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and the competitive landscape to continuously enhance solution offerings.
- Mentor and support junior team members, sharing knowledge and best practices.
- Collaborate with product teams to relay customer feedback and influence product development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in solution engineering, architecture, software development or a similar technical role within the trucking, transportation, or logistics industry.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), infrastructure as code, and AWS QuickSight asset management.
- Proven experience with network architecture, security protocols, and enterprise software solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement scalable solutions in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Deep understanding of fleet management systems, telematics, GPS tracking, ELD compliance, and supply chain solutions is a plus.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Cisco CCNP, Microsoft Certified, Telematics certifications) also a plus.
Skills & Competencies:
- Technical proficiency in modern software development, cloud architecture, SSO, and integration methodologies.
- Competent in Python, TypeScript, AWS CDK, git, and authoring SageMaker Notebooks.
- Familiarity with ETL / Glue jobs, AWS Athena, and Oracle databases.
- Knowledgeable in the implementation of AWS QuickSight data ingestion and visualization pipelines.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Customer-focused mindset with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and work in an agile environment.
- Team player, with a proactive attitude and a passion for technology.
