What you will do
As a Solution Engineer, you have domain expertise in business processes within a financial company (e.g., Sales, Originations, Retail and Wholesale Operations, or Accounting). You will work on individual assignments or as a member of a product team. Responsibilities will include technology assessment, system design, proof-of-concept development, sharing of information and learnings, all while working in a fast-paced, team centric environment. You have a logical, analytical, and creative approach to problems and the ability to clearly communicate with customers, colleagues, and management to explain complex issues. This position is on-site in Greensboro, North Carolina.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Coordinate between business stakeholders and developer resources (internally and externally) to deliver solutions
• Analyze business processes, workflows, and objectives to develop automated and/or streamlined solutions for business systems
• Build use cases, process diagrams, functional specifications, system design documents, and activity diagrams according to business requirements
• Create requirements documentation, test plans, and test scripts for quality assurance (QA) and user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Support solution development process by providing business and technical best practices and identifying functionalities necessary to meet business needs
• Support release management, ensuring proper QA/UAT testing and user communication
• Provide business expertise and knowledge in process flows and mapping with applications, group of applications, or applications sub-portfolios
• Other responsibilities, as assigned

EDUCATION:
• University degree or Bachelor of Science (BS) in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
EXPERIENCE:
• 5-7 years of Solution Engineer experience
• Experience with financial services and financial applications
• Experience with Agile framework including writing user stories with acceptance criteria as a technique to capture and articulate business requirements
SKILLS:
• Ability to adapt working with multiple technologies and different development environments
• Excellent written (Business & Technical), verbal, and listening communication skills
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills; experience with various data analytics, SQL querying, and reporting tools.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work effectively on multiple tasks in a fast paced, demanding environment
• Ability to collaborate effectively with team members in different geographies
