What you will do
The Strategic Accounts Manager plays a critical role in owning and managing the portfolio of Volvo and Mack lease line partners, OEM remarketing, designated sales initiatives, and strengthening relationships with Truck Sales organizations. This role collaborates closely with Regional Sales Directors (RSDs) to drive pricing strategies, manage portfolio performance, and support long term regional development planning through the leasing portfolio and key account acquisition. The position also works with Truck Sales teams to maximize refinance opportunities, coordinate syndication activity, and support key sales initiatives.
The ideal candidate will reside in the Greensboro, NC area, although candidates located in other metropolitan areas may be considered based on their experience.

• Identify and develop growth, acquisition, and expansion opportunities.
• Develop and manage pricing matrices aligned with regional pricing strategies.
• Balance portfolio performance through volume, net margin, and OEM penetration targets.
• Design and manage programming designed to enhance portfolio performance, deepen OEM relationship, and expand product usage depth.
• Present portfolio performance, reporting, and financial analysis to leadership.
• Drive proactive lead generation and pipeline management.
• Support the application process, including documentation and workflow management.
• Lead the End‑of‑Term (EOT) refinance process and customer engagement.
• Coordinate and facilitate dealer onboarding and training sessions.
End‑of‑Term (EOT) / End‑of‑Lease (EOL) Responsibilities
• Maintain visibility into pipeline status and maturity timelines.
• Analyze account profitability and support customer retention efforts.
• Develop reporting and track EOT conversion metrics and outcomes.
• Lead process execution with internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage process, communication and returns for FMV leases in partnership with OEM remarketing teams.
• Review, streamline, and digitalize procedures to improve operational efficiency.
Strategic Accounts/Initiatives
• Identify, pursue, and develop strategic conquest account opportunities.
• Support contract discussions in coordination with internal stakeholders and legal.
• Serve as a point of escalation for partnership-related issues and work to resolve challenges proactively.
• Assist RSDs with regional key account identification, acquisition, and development.
• Maintain visibility into syndication exposure and account health.
• Identify, coordinate, and manage syndication opportunities with regional teams.
• Oversee lead development, pricing proposals, pipeline tracking, and deal analysis for assigned portfolios and/or customers.
• Lead and Manage Go-to-Market (GTM) sales programs and products initiatives to support strategic growth objectives.
Who are you?
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field preferred.
• 5+ Experience in commercial finance, transportation, fleet leasing, or OEM support roles required.
• Experience with fleet leasing, lease/loan structures, or leasing consulting preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in selling financial products, managing a credit portfolio, direct sales, or equipment leasing experience preferred.
• 3+ years of experience building and managing relationships with franchise dealers and/or large fleets.
• Strong understanding of credit and/or operational aspects of the financial services industry and dealership environment.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and financial evaluation skills.
• Ability to challenge the status quo and develop creative solutions.
• Excellent communication, relationship‑building, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; CRM (Salesforce) or pipeline management systems preferred.
• Strong collaboration skills across sales teams, OEM partners, and internal business units.
• Demonstrated ability to operate with sound judgment, attention to detail, adaptability, and a sense of urgency.
