What you will do

The Strategic Accounts Specialist plays a critical role in managing the portfolio of Volvo and Mack lease line partners, supporting OEM remarketing, and strengthening relationships with Truck Sales organizations. This role collaborates closely with Regional Sales Directors (RSDs) to drive pricing strategies, monitor portfolio performance, and support long term regional development planning. The position also works with Truck Sales teams to maximize refinance opportunities, coordinate syndication activity, and support key sales initiatives. Based on business needs, the role may also include District Finance Manager (DFM) support duties and/or dealer portfolio ownership.  

 

The ideal candidate will reside in the Greensboro, NC area, although candidates located in other metropolitan areas may be considered based on their experience.

 

Key position highlights:

 

NATLG 
•    Manage portfolio performance, reporting, and financial analysis.
•    Drive proactive lead generation and pipeline management.
•    Strengthen OEM relationships and support finance program offerings.
•    Complete application input, documentation management, and processing.
•    Improve dealer line utilization through proactive relationship development and a trusted advisor approach.
•    Lead the End‑of‑Term (EOT) refinance process and customer engagement.
•    Coordinate and deliver dealer onboarding and training sessions.
•    Partner with RSDs and the Director of Commercial Operations on regional pricing strategies.

 

End‑of‑Term (EOT) / End‑of‑Lease (EOL) Responsibilities
•    Maintain visibility into pipeline status and maturity timelines.
•    Analyze account profitability and support customer retention efforts.
•    Develop reporting and track conversion rates for EOT activities.
•    Lead process execution with internal and external stakeholders.
•    Manage communication and returns for FMV leases in partnership with OEM remarketing teams.
•    Review, streamline, and digitalize procedures to improve operational efficiency.

 

Strategic Accounts 
•    Support key account identification, acquisition, and development efforts.
•    Maintain visibility into syndication exposure and overall account management.
•    Identify, coordinate, and manage syndication opportunities with regional teams.
•    Generate sales volume and execute transaction closures within the Dealer business channel.
•    Provide sales support to designated District Finance Manager(s).
•    Manage lead development, pricing proposals, pipeline tracking, and deal analysis for assigned regions and dealers.
•    Collaborate with DFMs to strengthen dealer relationships and improve efficiency and deal close rates.
•    Build strong working relationships with Mack and Volvo Truck Dealer sales teams and F&I representatives.

Who are you?

Qualifications
•    Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field preferred.
•    2+ years of experience in commercial finance, transportation, fleet leasing, or OEM support roles is a plus.
•    3+ years of experience in selling financial products, managing a credit portfolio, direct sales, or equipment leasing.
•    Strong understanding of credit, finance structures, and/or operational aspects of the financial services industry and dealership environment.
•    Experience in loan and product structures is preferred.
•    Strong analytical, reporting, and financial evaluation skills.
•    Excellent communication, relationship‑building, and problem‑solving abilities.
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; CRM or pipeline management systems preferred.
•    Ability to work collaboratively across sales, OEM partners, and internal business units.
•    Direct experience working in a professional environment where sound business judgment, attention to detail, a fast pace and a flexible and adaptable approach are valued.

 

Other Requirements
This position requires occasional travel.

For this position, the base pay is set at $83,500.00 - $103,100.00 annually, and where applicable, bonus eligible.  The range for this role, as well as final salary offered, is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, work-related knowledge, certifications, skills, education, and experience. In addition to these factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer.
