What you will do

Volvo and Mack Trucks North America are looking for a dynamic Software Systems Verification Engineer to join our team. This exciting opportunity is perfect for someone who wants to be at the forefront of automotive innovation.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute test plans for software systems integrated into commercial trucks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software quality and compliance with industry standards.
  • Analyze and debug software issues, providing solutions to enhance performance and safety.
  • Conduct verification tests on class 8 commercial trucks, ensuring the latest technology and safety features are functioning optimally.
  • Document test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in automotive technology.

  • Experience in embedded software testing, verification, and validation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of related experience.
  • Proficiency in CAN/ISO protocols.
  • Knowledge of SAE Standards.
  • Must be able to qualify and maintain CDL. Existing CDL experience is preferred.
