As part of Digital Technology & Operations, you will join a global team of cybersecurity professionals who collaborate across the organization to build and maintain a world-class security posture.

 

We are seeking an experienced eDiscovery Technical Administrator to manage and optimize our eDiscovery platforms and technical workflows. In this role you will be the technical support for our investigations, ensuring that our eDiscovery infrastructure operates securely, efficiently, and accurately. You will handle everything from backend platform management and data processing to troubleshooting complex technical issues across eDiscovery platforms.  You will also lead internal and external stakeholder engagement pertinent to eDiscovery efforts.

 

This is a multi-disciplinary role that will require the successful candidate to take on diverse responsibilities and will necessitate the ability to interact closely with senior business, technology, and legal stakeholders, both internally and externally. This position seeks an individual who possesses strong business support, data analysis, and eDiscovery experience who is comfortable often working independently with minimal supervision.

 

Primary Responsibility:

 

The primary responsibility of the eDiscovery Technical Administrator is to support the technical aspects of the eDiscovery process. This position serves as the technical resource for the systems used to identify, preserve, and collect custodial data used in litigation, compliance, and forensic investigations.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Platform management - Administer, configure, and maintain our primary eDiscovery platform, including user access, permissions, and workspace creations
  • Data processing and intake – Oversee the secure ingestion, processing, and exporting of electronically stored information (ESI) in various formats
  • Troubleshooting and support – Act as the highest level of technical escalation for platform issues and data processing anomalies
  • Serves as the primary eDiscovery liaison between internal and external stakeholders
  • Administer the Microsoft 365 ecosystem to execute targeted compliance and retention policies, utilizing Microsoft Purview and Exchange eDiscovery tools for precise content searches and legal holds
  • Utilize Relativity for search, collection, and processing of data
  • Evaluate potentially relevant company data applications (on-prem, cloud, third-party) and repositories including collaboration platforms, information systems and communication applications with respect to the requirements for data preservation and eDiscovery
  • Understanding of industry standard forensics software and processes to align eDiscovery workflows with established forensic policies ensuring defensible collections
  • Preserve digital evidence in a forensically sound manner that would be admissible in court proceedings
  • Issue, track, and enforce preservation holds for time sensitive eDiscovery taskings

•    Bachelor’s degree in a realted field
•    Minimum of two (2) years of direct eDiscovery experience in a corporate, law firm, or vendor environment
•    Two (2) or more years of hands-on experience with eDiscovery technology solutions such as Relativity
•    Two (2) or more years of hands-on technical experience administering the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, specifically utilizing Purview, Compliance Center, and Exchange
•    Thorough understanding of the eDiscovery lifecycle; including identification, collection, processing, review, and production
•    Working knowledge of enterprise-class production IT systems such as Exchange email, ERP systems, and SharePoint
•    Possession of an active, industry recognized eDiscovery certification is highly preferred; candidates actively working toward completion will be considered
•    Understanding of evidence management, handling, and chain of custody
•    Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and matters, navigating the differing needs and timelines of each
•    Ability to handle multiple priorities, work independently, and meet stringent deadlines
•    Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present technical strategies effectively, persuade cross-functional stakeholders, and advise management on risk mitigation
•    Experience working directly with a variety of technical and non-technical end users
•    Litigation practice experience is a bonus

At the Volvo Group, we strive for a clear, transparent, and straightforward compensation approach, motivating you to contribute to the company’s growth. For this position, the base pay is set at $128,300.00 - $158,400.00 annually, and where applicable, bonus eligible.  The range for this role, as well as final salary offered, is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, work-related knowledge, certifications, skills, education, and experience. In addition to these factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer.
