As a Facility Services Technician, you will hold a very important role in supporting the overall functionality, cleanliness, and professional presentation of our facilities. In this role, you will provide essential services across office, production, and the warehouse, to ensure operational efficiency and a safe, well-maintained workplace.
Your flexibility, support across multiple service areas, and ability to respond to changing facility needs make you critical to maintaining daily business operations. This position offers the opportunity to develop a strong understanding of facility services, workplace standards, and operational coordination while serving as a key resource in maintaining safe, organized, and professional environments.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Must have a solid understanding of facility cleaning standards and workplace service expectations within assigned areas.
• Perform office cleaning services including entry areas, offices, restrooms, windows, and shared spaces without disrupting daily business activities.
• Provide production and warehouse cleaning, including floor areas adjacent to assembly lines, processing zones, painting areas, and areas between storage racks. To include but not limited to equipment operation of floor scrubbers, floor grinders, polishers etc.
• Clean non-operational fixtures and structures such as radiators, electrical cabinets, pillars, railings, fire extinguishers, fire posts, girders, stairways, windowsills, tops of cabinets, outdoor patios, grounds, and parking lot.
• Support ordering, coordination, supervision, and maintenance of exterior and interior signage and interior products including shop displays, front office furniture, and reception areas.
• Assist with reception services, greeting visitors and supporting daily operational inquiries as needed.
• Provide moving services including physical relocation of workstations and office equipment to minimize productivity loss.
• Support furniture and furnishing administration including procurement coordination, inventory management, and standards maintenance across office areas.
• Support conference room services by ensuring meeting spaces are clean, functional, and professionally arranged (AV/IT equipment excluded).
• Ensure agreed indoor plants are maintained and thriving in designated areas according to facility standards.
• Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing priorities or urgent service requests.
• Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and adhere to safety and quality guidelines.
• Maintain reliable attendance and commitment to supporting facility operations.
• Uphold and maintain a team-oriented environment aligned with company standards and customer service expectations.
• Maintain and ensure proper functionality of cleaning tools, equipment, and facility service resources.
• Keep all assigned areas clean, organized, and compliant with housekeeping standards throughout the workday.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Required Qualifications (Education, Skills, & Experience):
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in facility services, commercial cleaning, property operations, or similar environments preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in office, warehouse, and production settings.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated flexibility and ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
Physical Requirements:
• Regularly required to lift and carry materials or equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.; team lift or equipment used for heavier items.
• Must be able to safely push, pull, and maneuver furniture, workstations, cleaning equipment, and materials as required to perform job responsibilities.
Work Environment/Conditions:
• Regular exposure to noise, cleaning chemicals, dust, and varying indoor and outdoor temperatures.
• Work performed in office, warehouse, dealer, and production environments.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, climbing, and reaching.
• Schedule may include early morning, evening, or weekend shifts based on operational needs. Overtime may be required during high-demand periods.
• May be designated as essential personnel during operational disruptions, planned shutdowns, or emergencies.
