THIS IS US, YOUR NEW COLLEAGUES:
The Kings Mountain Operations team is a dedicated team of professionals elevating a Truck Cab Manufacturing operation to a world class level. We support the North America Mack brand to meet the needs of our customers. At Kings Mountain, this position will report up to the Site EHS Manager and participate in both training and safety needs of the facility.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Develop a green field onboarding process that produces a level of excellence and prepares our employees for success as an outcome of the training program.
• Create a competency model for all of the roles at the facility that is relevant, deploy a technical training process that allows employees to progress through the competency model gaining skills and proficiency at work.
• Facilitate Training Programs: Support the facilitation of both general and specific training and development programs, ensuring they run smoothly and effectively.
• Contribute to Program Design: Assist in the planning, design, delivery, and implementation of training programs, bringing fresh ideas and perspectives to enhance learning experiences.
• Collaborate with Vendors: Work with vendors and educational organizations to develop and deliver high-quality training programs, ensuring they meet organizational standards.
• Develop Instructional Content: Provide input to instructional content, preparing materials such as participant guides, instructor guides, presentations, tests, and job aids that align with corporate standards.
• Conduct Needs Analysis: Assist with needs, audience, and task analysis to identify training requirements and provide input into effective solutions or changes.
• Evaluate Training Programs: Conduct external research to identify and evaluate training programs from vendors and educational institutions, ensuring they meet the organization's needs.
• Administer Learning Activities: Plan and administer various learning and development activities, including scheduling events, coordinating materials, and managing logistics to ensure successful training sessions.
• Maintain Training Records: Keep detailed records and reports on training progress, using evaluation data to guide program revisions and improvements, and providing input for continuous enhancement.
We are looking for a candidate with the following skills, knowledge, and experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in education, learning development, engineering, related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment is required, operations experience is preferred
• Knowledge of Cornerstone or other LMS
• Excellent interpersonal, coordination, written and verbal communication skills (English and Spanish preferred)
• Demonstrated experience in risk and change management
