What you will do

Volvo Financial Services (VFS) is seeking a Collections Executive – Meerut/Gurgaon. You will be a key member of the VFS India Collections team and will be based Meerut/Gurgaon.

We are seeking a dynamic and results driven individual to contribute significantly to the Collections Function as an individual contributor. Your primary responsibility will be to drive timely recoveries from assigned customers through field visits, follow-ups, and compliant collection practices. The purpose of this role is to drive bucket-wise resolution and increase collection efficiency for assigned portfolio (CV/CE retail). The Collection Executive is required to adhere strictly to the compliance policies set by VFS India for collections and also strictly adhere to the laws of India & RBI fair practice code and other polices. The Collection Executive is also responsible for maintenance of collection data on the Collections System and official laptop provided

Your Key Responsibilities 

•    Own collection targets for assigned cases in 1–30, 31–60, 61–90, 90+ buckets, Prepares and follows up for collection on overdue accounts allocated to him / her
•    Execute daily dialing plans, field visits, and route planning
•    Visits all customers and negotiates for collection of overdue amounts, maintains relationships with them keep tab on market references for all his customers.
•    Maintains effective communication with customers and third parties, e.g., lawyers, collection agencies and repossession agencies.
•    Identifies deployment of the asset and keeps a tab on its movement/utilization.
•    Regularly monitor repayment of accounts, analyse causes of delinquency, report concerns timely.
•    Follow up on Issued notices, negotiate payment plans/settlements per approval matrix; ensure repayment instruments/e-mandate updates. 
•    Drive roll-back (higher bucket to lower), flow control, and resolution for chronic cases. 
•    Perform skip tracing, coordinate with dealers, OEM touchpoints
•    Assist in asset location, voluntary surrender, and repossession (with agency as per SOP). 
•    Coordinate with legal for Section 138 (NI Act) cheque bounce cases and pre-litigation actions. 
•    Ensure documentation hygiene, KYC, consent, and RBI collections conduct compliance. 
•    Timely resolve customer disputes, handle customer grievances empathetically and close within TAT.
•    Is responsible for the integrity of collection data and customer logs, including visit reports relating to allocated accounts in the collection.
•    Maintains accuracy in uploading trails on all cases, within set timelines.
•    Strictly adheres to compliance.

 

Education & Professional Experience 

•    Should be a graduate, must hold Debt Recovery Agent Certificate
•    The candidate should have 1-3 years of collections experience in an NBFC, or retail bank is a pre-requisite, of which at least 1 years MUST be in Commercial vehicles / Construction Equipment collections in India.
•    Excellent spoken and written English, Hindi & Regional Languages will be added advantage
•    Proficient in PC skills, especially MS Office
