The North American Digital Production Manufacturing area is leading the charge in innovative solutions to help transform our company into the future model where we will not only provide cutting edge technologies to build trucks, but also provide services to a variety of stakeholders. We are a cross functional team working in an agile format, with colleagues across the globe within the Volvo Group.
What you will do
Key responsibilities will include:
- Work with each of the North America factories as they take their low code and citizen development journeys as key part of their digitalization strategies
- Act as a point of contact for users to solicit support with acquiring data required to help their solutions become a reality
- Stay on top of the latest breakthroughs and capabilities within the citizen development ecosystem
- Assist with scaling solutions born at one facility to be scaled regionally or globally where it makes sense
- Assist with lifecycle management of the minor percentage of solutions that have become business critical
- Represent manufacturing with providing feedback and soliciting support with sister organizations (i.e. Data, security, architecture, and partners)
- Represent manufacturing in forums that include end-to-end discussions within the North American Regional Value chain
- Organize and lead forums that will bring together employees working in this area at each of the North American factories
- Manage budget and funding for the Low Code stable team
