What you will do

At TTI you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the transport industry and society at large.

You will Lead and integrate business functional objectives across Quality, VPS, Environment, within IM Hoskote. 
Responsible for deploying and sustaining management systems, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring compliance with internal and external standards. Acts as a key people leader, fostering a culture of quality, and operational excellence.

  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Plan, schedule, and coordinate objectives for Quality, VPS & Environment
    • Coach, develop and implement strategies for operational efficiency and continuous improvement using Lean methodologies.
    • By X-functional collaboration define and implement best practice way of working
    • Representing the plant in regional and group networks.
  • Quality & Compliance:
    • Define, monitor and act on manufacturing quality KPIs and PIs.
    • Oversee product quality concerns, product and process audits, root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions.
    • Ensure campaigns and delivery stops are implemented and monitored.
    • Ensure compliance with homologation requirements and certification body audits.
    • Lead deployment and improvement of management systems including External and Internal audits.
  • VPS & Process Improvement:
    • Coach and motivate the organization to focus on Continuous Improvement
    • Drive, coordinate and coach the site in our VPS/Lean Manufacturing improvement journey
    • Secure VPS competence in the org by applying coaching leadership and secure relevant trainings in VPS methodology and tools
    • Facilitate development of SQDCPE A3s and drive involvement at all levels.
  • Environment & Compliance:
    • Drive the sustainability dimensions to meet the demands of the Volvo Group for the site, with strong focus on reducing emissions, usage of waste/water and energy.
    • An E2E responsibility for all environment compliance matters for the Hoskote site  
  • People Leadership:
    • Be a secured based leader – balancing care and dare.
    • Build trust through psychological safety and listening skills.
    • Coaching people grow and unleash their full potential.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Graduation in Mechanical/Automobile or related field, with 10+ years in Tier I/II manufacturing (preferably from a manufacturing background).
  • Deep understanding of modern Quality Processes, VPS/Lean Manufacturing, and management systems including ISO standards 9001/14001.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical mind-set, digitalization skills.
  • Leadership skills (communication, cross-functional collaboration, building high performing team, networking and coaching).
  • Ability to lead people towards quality and continuous improvement.
  • Open, positive attitude; goal-oriented, flexible, and self-motivated.
